12 / 01 / 07 : A Toy' in Morocco
Our clients are talented... And not only those winning races, but, sometimes, other drivers, involved in more artistic activities. Thus, Patrick Galibert, a professional photographer from Toulouse, who just came back from a 4WD raid in Morocco, and sent us those gorgeous pictures.
Patrick drove his Toyota HDJ 100 equipped with a set of Bos dampers, built on demand (you can have your own !), that he really enjoyed.

30 / 11 / 06 : Bos launches the "Bos Drivers Challenge !"
Unfortunately for those reading this post from outside of France, the new promoting challenge organized by Bos-Engineering will only take place in France, in the national Rallycross series. It consists in rewarding the drivers whom cars are equipped with a full Bos dampers kit, during all the season, with price money. If crowned French Champion they will also win a stunning cheque from Bos-Engineering, as it has already been the case for our two 2006 national champs. With this system, indexed on the points obtained by the drivers during the championship, Bos could invest up to 27.220 Euros / year ! A D1 champ, the likes of Bertrand Divaret in 2006, would receive around 2.500 Euros from our company during autumn 2007

30 / 11 / 06: Bos partner of the French Voxan Club.
After equipping the Voxan Charade, Bos follows its implication in the French biking adventure by being the French Voxan Club’s partner, for a technical partnership on the bike that the club is engaging in the Pro Twin Championship. The racing Voxan prototype, which will be run this season by Fabienne Migou, will be equipped with an upgraded Charad damper, regulated at compression and distension, and equipped with a separated reservoir (on hose pipe). This damper will be on sale, as well as the standard version. The VCF bike will also be equipped with a fork kit developed by BOS. The complete « racing » damper kit + kit will be available as well.
24 / 08 / 06 : A new rear shock for 85 (and more) motocross or enduro bikes
Since BOS stopped its tuning activity, the company has been less present on the motocross and enduro scene. But we never forgot our roots, and are still really keen to stay involved in two wheels off road racing. We already plan to launch a new shock absorber for 85cc motocross bikes within the end of 2006. A first prototype, assembled with existing but modified parts from our current catalog has been built. You can see it on this race tuned RM 85. The first tests have been really positive, and we now work on the final version. This shock absorber may be followed by a "big bike" version later on. But right now, we can make some small series or prototypes for any bike of the market, on demand.
24 / 08 / 06 : The Voxan Charade in Toulouse
As you may know, the new Voxan Charade will be equipped with a specific BOS damper. As he went to visit us, Jerome Remy (Voxan factory director) rode one of the three pre-serie model ever built from Yssoire to Toulouse. Around 400 km of nice curved roads. We where quite surprised to see him arriving on the bike ! Jerome kindly offered us to test his Charade, and almost everybody could have a short ride in the suburbs of Toulouse. First of us, Olivier Bossard enjoyed the behaviour of the bike, its powerfull engine, incredible brakes, and a very well balanced chassis (without speaking of the very good rear shock...). Notice the vintage look of the rider, fitting perfectly to the style of the bike.
15 / 03 / 06: Trophée Andros - a prototype damper for S. Peterhansel
Involved in the Andros Trophy’s final, which will take place at the French Stadium, on four and two wheels, Stéphane Peterhansel will be using a BOS’ prototype damper for the motorcycle race. The pilot with the most titles in rally raid is well known, not only for his victories in the rally Dakar by car and motorcycle, but also for his amazing career. He has been BOS’ pilot for a long time, and this relation is carrying on even through BOS’ arrival next to the official Mitsubishi rally raid team. It seems that "peter" / Bos is a long lasting story, and it’s shown good results! And when he thought about running with his bike during the last Andros Final at the French stadium, Stéphane immediately called Olivier Bossard regarding his dampers and became the first pilot trying out the luxurious prototype Bos had just finished, and will use it in Paris. This damper has a five way twin tube system, which combines the latest Bos’ technologies.

28 / 02 / 06 - Motorcycle - SBR 5 : from the 250 Aprilia of GP to the Yamaha R6
Real factory damper, entirely factorised, the SBR5, used by Sylvain Guintoli during the last 2005 season, is showing the best of Bos’ technology: Twin-tube System, 3 way tuning (compression, distension and "coefficient")... But it mainly gives the bike a really healthy behaviour, especially during masses transfer. Moreover, the coefficient allows to drive in all conditions with the same damper: there’s no more need to have an element for dryness and another one for the rain. The reliability and the behaviour consistency are exceptional: The French GP team received their 3 final dampers in Barcelona, and went through a whole season with them, without any intervention from Bos.

Today, the SBR 5 isn’t only for GP 125 and 250 pilots, as it’s already available for the Yamaha R6 2006, as well as for the R1!
Step by step the development will be done for other machines, such as the GSXR and the CBR in 600 and 1000, and we can be consulted for adapted studies...
